Lamonte Ulmer signs with BCM U Pitesti

Lamonte Ulmer (198 cm, Rhode Island’10) will be joining BCM U Pitesti from Romania’s Liga Nationala this 2013-14 season. The 26-year-old product of Rhode Island spent the 2012-13 season playing in Finland for Pyrinto Tampere. He played in six games in the EuroChallenge for them and averaged 16.7 ppg and 6.5 rpg. Ulmer was also impressive in his 47 games in the Finnish league, where he hit averages of 19.1 ppg and 7.9 rpg. Lamonte also helped his team wn the Finnish Cup in 2013.

In 20112-12 he played in Luxembourg’s Diekirch league as part of AS Soleuvre. Ulmer logged 22 games for them and averaged a strong double-double with 26.2 ppg and 12.5 rpg.
