LaMelo and LiAngelo Ball Go Pro in Europe
LaMelo and LiAngelo Ball are headed to Europe to begin their professional basketball careers. They will be flying to Lithuania in January and have agreed to sign contracts with Vytautas Prienai (Lithuania-LKL). LiAngelo, 19, was pulled out of UCLA by his father earlier in December. LaMelo, who is 16, had originally committed to play for UCLA. However, since he contracted an agent, LaMelo is no longer eligible to play college hoops.
LiAngelo, who was a freshman in UCLA did not get to play for their Men’s Basketball Team. He was suspended after being charged with shoplifting in China, along with two other teammates. LaVar Ball opted to send his sons to Europe in order to get professional playing experience. LiAngelo is expected to declare for the 2018 NBA Draft. Their eldest brother, Lonzo, is currently playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Ball family owns a shoe company called Big Baller Brand. LaVar has been one of the most outspoken and divisive strong personalities, not only in basketball but in the entire Sports World in 2017.
