Kyle Wiltjer pens with Olympiacos

 Kyle Wiltjer (208 cm, Gonzaga’16) will continue his professional basketball career this 2017-18 with a stint in Europe playing for Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (Greece-A1). He is a 25-year-old Canadian basketball player who played for the Canadian National Team in 2015. Wiltjer was released by the Toronto Raptors this October and he has since decided to suit up for one of Europe’s most elite clubs in Olympiacos.

He played briefly for the Houston Rockets in 2016-17 but ended up spending most of the season with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (USA-D-League). In 31 games for the Vipers, Wiltjer posted impressive averages of 20.7 ppg and 6.9 rpg.
