Kwamain Mitchell departs Ventspils

Kwamain Mitchell (178 cm, St. Louis’13) has parted ways with Latvian club BK Ventspils (Latvia-LBL) this 2016 and is now a free agent. Mitchell played a dozen games for them during their run in the FIBA Europe Cup and was able to post averages of 7.8 ppg and 3.5 apg. Kwamain also logged a total of 23 games in the domestic Latvian league and there he averaged 12.3 ppg and 4.6 apg. The 26-year-old Mitchell was selected to play in the 2016 Latvian league all-star game.

In 2014-15 Kwamain played for AZS Polfarmex Kutno (Poland-TBL). He played 25 games for them and produced averages of 19.4 ppg and 5.3 apg. His season with them ended abruptly in April 2015 due to injury.
