Ksistof Lavrinovic transfers to Vilnius
Ksistof Lavrinovic (209 cm) has joined Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius (Lithuania-LKL and Eurocup) for the remainder of the season. The Lithuanian center just left the Grissin Bon Reggio Emila (Italy-SerieA) to return to his home country. He has logged nine games for them in the Eurocup and was able to average 6.9ppg and 3.4rpg. In the domestic Italian Serie A Lavrinovic posted averages of 10.0ppg and 3.8rpg. He was a member of the Lithuanian National Team from 2003 to 2011 and again in 2013.
Ksistof Lavrinovic began the 2013-14 season on the roster of BC Zalgiris Kaunas (Lithuania-LKL). The veteran played in 13 Euroleague games for them and averaged 7.2ppg and 3.4rpg. Meanwhile, in nine domestic LKL games he posted averages of 10.1ppg and 3.7rpg. His season got off to a slow start as he was injured during the pre-season and was side-lined for six weeks. He later signed with Valencia Basket (Spain-Liga Endesa) where he played fifteen games and averaged 7.3ppg and 2.3rpg.
