Kris Joseph new addition by Chalon
Former NBA forward Kris Joseph (201 cm, Syracuse’12) has been signed by French ProA team ES Chalon-Sur-Saone for the 2013-14 season. Joseph, who is Canadian and also holds a passport from Trinidad and Tobago, was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the second round of 2012 NBA Draft. Kris was a member of the Canadian National Team in 2009 and 2013.
He had a very full 2012-13 season, playing for a couple of NBA and D-League teams. He was with the Boston Celtics and averaged just 1.2 ppg and 0.8 rpg in just six games. He was later assigned to the D-League’s Maine Red Claws and there he was able to flourish, averaging 18.2 ppg and 5.3 in a dozen games. Joseph later moved to the Springfield Armor (D-League) and averaged 18.9 ppg and 4.0 rpg in 15 games. On April 2013 he was signed to a 10-day contract by the Brooklyn Nets. He appeared in just four games and only managed to average 0.5 ppg and 0.5 rpg.
