Kobe passes Jordan on NBA Scoring List
During the Los Angeles Lakers 100-94 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Kobe Bryant set another milestone by passing Michael Jordan on the NBA all-time scoring list. The 36-year-old Bryant sank a free-throw shot to pass his idol to take third place on the list. Bryant scored 26 points and grabbed six rebounds during the game as well as sank a key three-pointer over two defenders in the fourth period to seal his team’s victory. Kobe still trails NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387) and Utah Jazz power forward Karl Malone (36,928).
