Kevin Thompson agrees with Leiden
Kevin Thompson (205 cm, Morgan State’12) has switched to Zorg and Zekerheid Leiden (Netherlands, Eredvisie) for the rest of the season. The center has had a busy season so far playing in the Ukraine and Poland. He started the season playing for WKS Slask Wroclaw in the Polish TBL where he played nine games and collected averages of 5.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. The American left Wroclaw to play for Hoverla Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine, Superleague) and picked up numbers of 1.3 points and 1.3 rebounds from just three games.
During the 2012/2013 campaign Kevin Thompson played for MBK Rieker Komarno in the Slovakian Extraliga. It was Thompson´s first season in professional Basketball and he collected good double-double averages from his rookie campaign. From 44 games the 24-year old recorded averages of 14.9 points per game while he finished as the best rebounder in the league with 11.2 per game. Kevin Thompson graduated from Morgan State in 2012 and is now in his second season as a pro.
