Kevin Smith joins Albacomp

Kevin Smith (195 cm, Richmond’11) has had his contract bought out by his team Factum Sport Debrecen (Hungary, A Division) and has been traded to Hungarian powerhouse Albacomp. The departure of the 24-year old forward is the latest is a string of players that have left the financially stricken club.

Kevin Smith follows Sean Carter (205 cm, Massachusetts’12) and Earl Pettis (195 cm, La Salle’12) out of Debrecen. Smith is in his second season as a pro and has played 11 games with Debrecen and averaged impressively with 20.4ppg, 7.5rpg, and 2.1apg. Kevin Smith has already had his first training session with league leader Albacomp and the good news for the player is that at least the financially troubled Debrecen club managed to buy out his contract.
