Kevin Hervey trades NBA for Russia

Kevin Hervey (206 cm, F) will play in Russia this coming season. He just signed for Lokomotiv Kuban. Hervey had a very impressive college career with the University of Texas at Arlington. He broke all kinds of records there and is one of the most accomplished players in the history of the school. No wonder that Herbey was drafted in 2018 (57 in the 2nd round) by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Unfortunately, Hervey never played a game in the NBA. Instead, he was sent to the G League. He had solid numbers there and earned a spot on the Oklahoma City Thunder Summer League team, but that was as far as he got. Hervey has now put his NBA dream on hold and will pursue big paychecks overseas instead.
