Kazuya Hatano joins Shimane Magic

Kazuya HatanoKazuya Hatano (192 cm) has moved from the Oita Heat Devils to the Shimane Susanoo Magic, both of the Japan BJ League. In the first 16 games of the season with the Heat Devils, Hatano averaged 8.1ppg and 5.6rpg. He’s played his entire career, starting in 2005, in the BJ League, having been drafted by Osaka Evessa in 2005. Hatano played for Osaka for four seasons, then moved to the Saitama Broncos, where he stayed for two years. In 2011-12 he played for the Shiga Lakestars. Hatano also played for the Japanese U21, U22 and University teams, competing in the 2001 U22 World Championships and the World University Games.
