Juvonte Reddic inks deal with Belfius Mons-Hainaut
Juvonte Reddic (206 cm, VCU ’14) agreed to terms with Belfius Mons-Hainaut (Belgium-Euromillions). The 25-year-old forward makes the move after spending one season with Kolossos H Hotels (Greece-A1) where he played 24.4 mpg. The forward did all of his damage on the offensive end around the basket. He shot 54.4 percent from two which led to him scoring 11.6 ppg in 29 A1 games. Rebounding wasn’t an issue either for the American as he grabbed 5.8 rpg.
Reddic will now look to continue the strong start to his professional career. His next challenge will come with a Belfius Mons-Hainaut team that struggled in the Euromillions a year ago. They finished seventh with an 18-18 record while also seeing an early exit in the European Cup. Improvement is in the works with the addition of the young big man. The team plans to insert him into the starting lineup right away.
