Josh Carter joins Ankara

Turk Telekom Ankara (Turkey, TBL) has unveiled a new addition to the team roster in the form of Josh Carter (200 cm, Texas A&M’09) for the upcoming season. The American will bring with him experience of high level European Basketball after just completing a season with Montepaschi Siena (Italy, Serie A). The forward took to the court in 46 Serie A games throughout a busy 2013/2014 season and averaged 10.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.4 dimes per game. In the Euroleague the former Texas A&M player featured in ten games and took 9.2 points and 3.2 boards per game.

Josh Carter also played in the Eurocup for Siena, playing in six games and averaging 11.0 points and 2.5 rebounds per appearance. The 26-year old has a lot of experience and has previously played for Spartak St. Petersburg (Russia, PBL), Maccabi Ashdod (Israel, Premier League), and EWE Baskets Oldenburg (Germany, BBL).
