José Costa and Jason Smith sign up with CAB Madeira

CAB Madeira, from Funchal, Portugal, is filling spaces in its roster. Last night, in fact, it finally confirmed two players for the 2012/13 season: José Costa and Jason Smith who are returning to the Amigos after some time away.

José Costa, a National Team player for Portugal, is happy to be with the Amigos again who have a real shot at the coming season.

Jason Smith intends to make his return to the Amigos even better than the first time around. He left the team previously to play with the Ovarense Dolce Vita (another Portuguese team). He was the highest scorer of the Portuguese Basketball League during the 2008/09 season.

Coach Joao Freitas is also satisfied with the arrangement. He knows the players already and believes that this will help the Amigos maintain their high  ranking in the Portuguese Basketball League.
