Jonny Flynn heads to China
Jonny Flynn (183 cm, Syracuse´09) has joined Chinese NBL franchise Sichuan Blue Whales for the 2013/2014 season. The point guard was playing in his native Australia at the end of last season while representing the Melbourne Tigers in the NBL. Over eighteen games he averaged impressively with 17.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game.
The 24-year old has spent most of his professional career in the NBA and last season started the campaign with the Portland Trailblazers, but only pre-seasoned with the franchise before departing.
