John Bryant leaves Ulm
John Bryant (208 cm, Santa Clara’09) will not play with Ratiopharm Ulm (Germany, BBL) during the 2013/2014 season after leaving the team he has played for since 2010. The center has become one of the stars of the Bundesliga and is a fan favourite among the Ulm support, but now it has been confirmed the American will part company with the team.
The 25-year old played 41 games in the BBL this season and averaged 15.6ppg and was the league’s best rebounder with 10.1 rebounds per game over the season. Bryant also featured in 13 Eurocup games and recorded averages of 16.0ppg while once again topping the rebound charts with 9.4 per game.
John Bryant became an integral part of the Ratiopharm team and was instrumental in guiding the team to a 3rd place regular season finish and to the semi-finals of the BBL. He will undoubtedly be tough to replace on the roster as he departs for pastures new.
