Johan Petro added by Ponce

Leones de Ponce (Puerto Rico-BSN) has recently agreed to terms on a deal that will bring Johan Petro (214 cm) to their team this 2016. Petro is a 29-year-old Frenchman who has been a long-time member of the French national team from 2005 to 2013. The former NBA big man will be tasked to strengthen the club’s interior defense this season. He is no stranger to the Puerto Rican BSN. In 2015 Johan was on the roster of the Mets de Guaynabo (Puerto Rico-BSN). He played a total of 45 games for Guaynabo last year and was able to produce averages of 9.2 ppg and 9.2 rpg. He was released by the team in April.
