Joel Wright (201 cm, Texas State’14) has agreed to terms with French club Cholet Basket (France-Pro A) and will be joining them this 2016. Wright is coming off a two-game stint playing in the Philippines for the Purefoods Star Hotshots (Philippines-PBA). Joel averaged 28 ppg and 12.5 rpg. He also spent some time with the KL Malaysia Dragons (Malaysia-ASEAN League). He spent the 2015-16 season playing in the NBA D-League. Wright played 30 games for the Iowa Energy (USA-D-League) and produced averages of 15.7 ppg and 6.6 rpg. In February 2016 Wright moved to the Bakersfield Jam (USA-D-League) and there he played seven games and averaged 7.7 ppg and 4.9 rpg.
