Jermaine Bucknor returns to TBB Trier
Jermaine Bucknor (199 cm, Richmond ’06) is on the move to TBB Trier (Germany-BBL). Bucknor played with Trier from 2012-2015. There, he played some of the best basketball of his career. He scored 9.3 ppg while shooting 60.8 percent from inside the arch in the 2014/2015 season while putting up similar numbers the year prior. Bucknor left Trier for Belfius Mons-Hainaut (Belgium-Euromillions League) but only stayed for the 2015/2016 season. This season he began with Ciclista Olimpico de La Banda (Argentina-LigaA). His time in Argentina lasted seven games with averages of 8.0ppg and 5.6rpg while shooting 29.4 percent from two.
Bucknor has been playing professionally since he graduated from Richmond. He began with Limoges CSP Elite (France-ProB) in 2006. Trier is excited to bring back a familiar face. “I am very happy that we could sign him. He will be an enrichment for the team”, said Trier head coach Marco Van Den Berg.
