Jerel Blassingame stays with Zagreb

American point guard Jerel Blassingame (175 cm, UNLV’05) has extended his stay with Cibona Zagreb (Croatia, A1, Adriatic League, and Eurocup) for another season. The 32-year old will now stay with the Croatian giant throughout the upcoming 2013-2014 season. Blassingame joined with Cibona in January of this year and impressed over 15 A1 games with averages of 12.9ppg, 2.8rpg, 5.3apg. He also played in 8 Adriatic League games and posted 14.5ppg, 2.3rpg, and 5.8apg.

Earlier in the campaign Jerel Blassingame played in 10 Euroleague games with former club Asseco Prokom Gdyni (Poland, PLK) and finished joint 5th in the competition for assists with an average of 5.1apg.
