Je’Kel Foster heads to Sidigas Avellino
Je’Kel Foster (194 cm, Ohio State’06) is making his way back to the Italian Serie A after several seasons playing in other leagues. He joins Sidigas Avellino for the rest of the 2013-14 season. Foster began the season on the roster of JSF Nanterre (France-ProA). He played a dozen games in the French Pro A league and averaged 6.8 ppg and 2.2 apg. Je’Kel also appeared in 10 games for Nanterre in the Euroleague and there he posted averages of 4.9 ppg and 1.6 apg.
Foster began his 2012-13 season in Belgium playing for Belgacom Spirou (Ethias League). He played six games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 7.3 ppg and 1.7 rpg. In 14 Euroleague games he posted averages of 7.4 ppg and 2.2 rpg. In the Belgian Ethias League, Foster averaged 11.3 ppg and 3.0 rpg in eight games.
In December 2012 Je’Kel moved to Germany and signed with ALBA Berlin (BBL). He played 24 games in the German league and notched averages of 7.4 ppg and 2.8 rpg.
