Jasmin Perkovic makes Olimpija move
Jasmin Perkovic (205 cm) has signed with Adriatic League team Union Olimpija Ljubljana from Slovenia until the end of the season. The Croatian forward had recently left German outfit LTi Giessen 46ers (Germany-BBL) where he had a temporary replacement contract. The team filed for bankruptcy in December 2012.
Perkovic is known for his physicality and has become a dominant forward in the European game, playing in some of the biggest leagues on the continent. He spent two seasons (2010-2012) with Vanoli-Braga (Italia Serie A), where he posted 9.8ppg, 4.1rpg, and 1.4apg in his first season and backed that up with 9.8ppg, 4.1rpg, and 1.4apg in the next.
He has spent much of his time in the Bundesliga (Germany) where he played for Oldenburg for three seasons (2007-2010) with high stats of 11.9ppg, 5.7rpg, 2.1apg and 1.4spg in the 2007-2008 season. Stints at Frankfurt and a short term replacement contract at LTi Giessen 46ers followed, but after starting this season with Giessen, Perkovic is now headed for Slovenia.
He will now return to the Adriatic League with Union Olimpija Ljubljana, Perkovic previously played with KK Zadar (Croatia) and Siroki Hercegtisak (Bosnia) in the competition and brings with him vast experience of the European game.

Very smart player. Not that egoistic and show-offy, maybe because for that his career is not that brilliant though very solid.
Great warrior! Good for him!
Moving (back) on up..
