Jarrod Jones departs BC Kyiv

Jarrod Jones (205 cm, Ball State’12) is leaving BC Kyiv from Ukraine’s Superleague. This was his rookie stint as a pro. He leaves after playing 30 games for BC Kyiv. In that span the 22-year-old Jones averaged 13.9 ppg and 8.5 rpg.

In 2011-12, his senior year at Ball State, Jones logged averages of 14.8 ppg and 8.6 rpg. He was named to the All-MAC 2nd Team in 2012. The year before that he was named to All-MAC 1st Team and to the MAC All-Tournament Team.

As Jones hits free agency, he may become the target of international teams looking for an athletic big man to shore up their frontcourt.
