Jamil Wilson from Roma to Hapoel Jerusalem

Jamil Wilson (201 cm, F) started this season in the Italian Serie A, thinking he would be there far into 2021. That wasn’t to be. His team Acea Virtus Roma had severe financial issues that culminated in the withdrawal of the historic team from Serie A just a day ago.

Wilson was left without a team and hit the basketball job market running. He signed with Hapoel Jerusalem in the Israeli Winner League, where he joins a team on top of the standings with a perfect 5-0 record.

Jamil Wilson graduated in 2014 from Marquette University where he averaged 11.8 ppg and 6.2 rpg. During the 17/18 season, Wilson played 15 games for the Clippers in the NBA.
