Jamal Boykin heads to Cherkasy

Jamal Boykin (203 cm, California’10) is moving to the SK Cherkasy Monkeys from Ukraine’s Superleague from s.Oliver Baskets from Germany’s Bundesliga. Boykins was able to play three games for s.Oliver Baskets before leaving and averaged 5.7 ppg and 5.0 rpg. s.Oliver Baskets is currently dead last in the German league a 1-9, while the New Yorker Phantoms are in the middle of the pack with an even 5-5 record.

Boykin spent the 2012-13 season playing in the Netherlands’ Eredivisie league where he suited up for the GasTerra Flames Groningen. Jamal played 41 games for Groningen and averaged 12.7 ppg and 6.0 rpg. His team made it as far as the semifinals in the Dutch league in 2013.
