Jahvaughn Powell inks with Alcobendas

Jahvaughn Powell (183 cm, G) has signed with NCS Alcobendas from Spain. That team moved up from the EBA to play in the LEB Silver this year (3rd tier in Spain). Powell himself is no newcomer to the LEB Silver. On the contrary. He has been playing in that league for two seasons in a row with his former team Azpeitia Juaristi Saski Baloia. Last season he averaged 9.8 ppg and 3.5 aspg, while also being 4th best in the league in steals (1.8 pg). Powell is a reliable player who also had similar stats in his senior year in college when he played for Nicholls State.
