Ivan Paunic (194 cm) has been released by Azovmash Mariupol (Ukraine-Superleague). Paunic has been playing in three leagues with the club, averaging 5.3 points per game in 6 EuroCup games, 3.4 points per game in 7 VTB United League games, and 3.4 points in 14 Ukrainian Superleague games. Last season he suited up for BC Nizhny Novgorod (Russia-PBL), where he contributed 10.0 points per game in 18 PBL contests, 11.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in 16 VTB United League games, and 8.9 points per game in 11 EuroChallenge games. Paunic was a member of the Serbia and Montenegro U18 Nation Team in 2005, the Serbia and Montenegro U20 team in 2006, The Serbian U20 National Team in 2006, The Serbian University National Team in 2007 and 2009, and the Serbian Senior National Team from 2009-12.
