Hollis Thompson landed by Olympiacos

 Hollis Thompson (203 cm, Georgetown’12) is taking his game to Europe this 2017-18 after agreeing to terms on a deal to play for Greek powerhouse,  Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (Greece-A1). This will be Thompson’s first pro gig outside of the U.S., marking a new chapter in his career. Hollis Thompson began the 2016-17 season with the Philadelphia 76ers, where he logged 31 games and averaged 5.5 ppg and 2.6 rpg. Within the season, Thompson saw some action in the NBA D-League with the Austin Spurs. In 16 games, the shooter recorded averages of 14.4 ppg and 4.8 rpg. Before that, he had a brief stop with the New Orleans Pelicans, where he played nine games and averaged 3.8 ppg and 3.1 rpg.
