Herb Pope joins Kryvyi Rih

24-year old American Herb Pope (203 cm, Seton Hall University’12) has inked with Kryvbasbasket-Lux Kryvyi Rih (Ukraine, Superleague) until the end of the 2012-2013 season. Pope is in his rookie season having left college in the summer of 2012. In his final season with Seton Hall University, Pope played 31 games and recorded good averages of 15.2ppg, 10.3rpg, and 1.4apg.

Herb Pope started this season with Bnei Eshet Tours Hasharon (Israel, Premier League), where the forward averaged 9.6ppg and 5.3rpg over seven games. The American left Israel in December and joined with VAP Kolossos Rodou (Greece-A1) in January this year, but his stint in Greece has been short and he featured in no games.
