Glen Rice Jr. to Ironi Nahariya
Glen Rice (198 cm, G/F) is on the move to Israel. Rice had played in Israel before; during the 17/18 season, he averaged an impressive 23.8 ppg and 8 rebounds for Holon. He now joins a Nahariya team that is last in the Winner League standings with a 2-12 record.
Rice started had signed on to start this season with Juventus in the Lithuanian LKL but never played a game there. Last season Rice played for the Breakers in the NBL. He averaged 25 and 7 in just three games; a season cut short after he was arrested after an incident at an Auckland bar. The American was arrested over an alleged assault with intent to injure.
Glen Rice is 29 years old and has played most of his pro career in South and Middle America. He has also played in the G-League and played 15 NBA games with the Wizards.
He played college basketball at Georgia Tech, where he averaged 13 ppg and 6.8 rebounds his last season.
