Gilberto Clavell returns to Puerto Rico

Gilberto Clavell (201 cm, Sam Houston State’11) has been signed by Caciques de Humacao (Puerto Rico, BSN) until the end of the season. The native of Puerto Rico has been playing this season with Kouvot Kouvola in Finland’s Korisliga and has recorded impressive stats of 20 points and 6,1 rebounds per game over 44 games.

It will be the second time that Gilberto Clavell has played in Puerto Rico since leaving Sam Houston in 2011. During the 2011-2012 season the 24-year old forward played with Maratonistas de Coamo in the BSN and averaged 10.6ppg and 4.3rpg over seven games with the franchise.
