Giddy Potts to The Netherlands, ZZ Leiden

Giddy Potts (188 cm, G) is flying to The Netherlands this Sunday. There he will join ZZ Leiden and coach Geert Hammink. The Dutch DBL has been on a forced hiatus implemented by a government Covid-19 ruling. Tomorrow the league will decide whether to continue the season that was two rounds in and was cut short on the 11th of October or start anew with a different format.

Giddy Potts played last season in the Italian Serie A2 for Ravenna. He averaged 16.6 ppg and 6 rebounds while shooting 40.5% from beyond the arc. In no small part was Potts responsible for Ravenna’s success as they led the A2 with a 20-5 record for Covid ended the season early.

Potts played college basketball at Middle Tennessee State, where he averaged 13.2 ppg and 4.2 rebounds his senior year.
