The Milwaukee Bucks are currently at the top of the NBA and have the Greek Freak to thank for it. Giannis Antetokounmpo has again topped the latest NBA MVP Ladder, leading the Bucks to a 10-2 start this season. The two-time Most Valuable Player is putting up a great stat line of 31.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.4 blocks per contest, while shooting a 54.2% overall clip from the field.

Many people expected that Giannis would just coast in the regular season, and just unleash his true strength in the playoffs. But the Bucks superstar is actually performing at a very high level, and he’s doing it without the services of his injured co-star Khris Middleton. Giannis also topped the previous edition of the NBA MVP Ladder, and there’s no question that he’s on course for a third MVP plum.

Trailing Giannis on the list are Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks, Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics, Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies. Tatum is obviously the biggest climber on the list, as he was just listed as 7th in the previous edition. Through 13 games this season, the Celtics superstar is averaging 32.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.3 blocks. He is also shooting a career-high 50% clip, including an excellent 38.7% clip from the three-point line.

Rounding out the Top 10 in the latest NBA MVP Ladder are Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker, Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic, Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant, Portland Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard, and Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry.
