Paul Carter signs with Hyeres-Toulon

Paul Carter (205 cm, Illinois-Chicago ’11) inked a deal to play with Hyeres-Toulon Var Basket (France-Pro A). The 29-year-old forward makes the move after playing with the Breakers (Australia-NBL) for 11 games this season. He also played 12 games with ALBA Berlin (Germany-BBL) as well this year. Breakers gave Carter much more playing time and he finished with averages of 9.1 ppg, 4.5 rpg while shooting 50 percent from three in 21.5 mpg.

Carter is making his return to the Pro A as he played with the Sharks Antibes (France-Pro A) last season. There, he averaged 10.2 ppg with 4.9 rpg and 1.7 apg. Now he will join a Hyeres-Toulon team that sits in tenth place in the Pro A with a 9-11 record. Since graduating in 2011, Carter has played all over the world including stops in Finland, Israel, Mexico, France, Germany and one year in the D-League.
