Frayles de Guasave builds season roster
Mexican CIBACOPA team Frayles de Guasave is preparing for the start of the season by boosting the numbers in its roster. The team announced its three import players and its one national player for the start of the CIBACOPA season that was put back from March to April.
American Eniel Polynice (195 cm, Seton Hall’11) is returning after playing 3 games with Guasave last season. During his first stint the guard scored 23.3 points per game so the franchise will be hoping to secure him for longer this season.
Joining Polynice is American forward Rob Robinson (203 cm, Robert Morris’10) who also played the 2011-2012 season in Mexico with CIBACOPA franchise Caballeros de Culiacan where he played 42 games and impressed with averages of 22.1ppg, 7.8rpg, and 2.3apg.
The last import joining with Frayles de Guasave this season is Canadian forward Eric Frederick (203 cm, Texas Wesleyan’12). Fredericks is in his rookie season and comes from Canadian franchise the Montreal Jazz where he has played 13 games this season and averaged a staggering 29.5 points per game.
