Crvena Zvezda and Baskonia both beat teams ranked higher in the standings on Tuesday in makeup games from Round 20.
Bitci Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz 87-74 Anaodlu Efes Istanbul
In a rescheduled game from Round 20, Baskonia snapped its eight-game losing streak by downing reigning champion Efes 87-74 at home on Tuesday. Wade Baldwin led the winners with 20 points and 11 assists, Simone Fontecchio added 15 points, and Matt Costello posted a double-double. Vasilije Micic paced Efes with 23 points. Baskonia improved to 8-19 in the standings while Efes dropped to 14-13.
Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade 65-62 Real Madrid
In a rescheduled game from Round 20, Crvena Zvezda recorded its third consecutive win by stopping Real 65-62 in the Serbian capital on Tuesday. Dejan Davidovac and Nikola Ivanovic led the winners with 13 points apiece as Zvezda improved to 12-15. Sergio Llull scored 20, and Walter Tavares posted a double-double in defeat for second-placed Real, which slipped to 20-7.
