Eric Palm signs with KB Kosice
Eric Palm (188 cm, McKendree ’09) inked a deal to join KB Kosice (Slovakia-SBL). This will be the fourth team for Palm since the start of the 2016/2017 campaign. Most recently, the 30-year-old guard was a part of the Bakken Bears (Denmark-Ligaen) where he played 28 games. In Ligaen play, Palm scored 8.3 ppg while finding 2.8 apg in just 18.8 mpg of action.
Before playing in Denmark, Palm signed with Bashkimi Prizren (Kosovo-Superleague). However, he only stayed with the team for ten games. Palm started the season with Iskra Svit (Slovakia-SBL) and was there for a small amount of time, six games. The veteran guard has played all over the world including Germany, Iceland, and the four countries since the beginning of last season.
Now, Palm heads to Kosice to make his return to the SBL after starting there last season. He will join the defending regular-season champions of the Slovakian league. They went 34-6 last year and went on to win the Slovakian Cup. Palm will add guard depth to the already impressive roster.
