Elton Brown free agent

Red Star Belgrade (Adriatic League and Serbian League) has told Elton Brown (206 cm, Virginia’05) that he is free to leave if he receives an offer from another club. With the arrival of Predrag Samardziski it was clear that Brown’s role in the team would be less than before. Especially when the coaching staff chose to leave him out of the roster for the Serbian Cup. Red Star has too many imports for the Serbian domestic competitions (the Cup and the Championship) and it was clear that somebody had to go. Elton Brown won’t be travelling with Red Star to Turkey tonight where his team will play a Eurocup game against Galatasaray in Istanbul. Brown averaged 10.3 ppg and 4.8 rpg for Red Star in 10 Eurocup games and also 8.7 ppg and 4.7 rpg in the Adriatic League. Last season was very successful for Brown when he played in Turkey and averaged 18.1 ppg and 12.2 rpg for Trabzonspor.
