EA7 Emporio Armani Bags Trofeo Lombardia

More exhibitions games and friendly cups are being played every day in preparation for the upcoming 2016-17 season. One recent friendly was a deciding Finals game between Italian clubs EA7 Emporio Armani Milano and Vanoli Cremona. The Milanese franchise looked sharp and in season-ready form as it handily claimed the Trofeo Lombardi with an 82-74 win.

The game was actually close for most of the contest. Armani held a slim, one-point lead, 36-35 at the end of the first half. After the break they pushed on and built on their early momentum to expand on their advantage. They were able to successfully stave off  any efforts put forward by Vanoli Cremona and were able to hold on to victory.

Krunoslav Simon poured in 21 points to lead EA7 Armani. Miroslav Raduljica added 20 points of his own as both big men punished the Cremona defense in the paint. Omar Thomas paced Vanoli Cremona with 15 points, while Tu Holloway added 11 of his own.
