E.J. Montgomery to Lithuania

E.J. Montgomery (208 cm, F) played two years of college basketball at Kentucky. Playing less than the allowed four years at Kentucky is nothing new for the SEC powerhouse. Montgomery’s road to signing with Nevezis Kedainiai runs a bit different than we are used to. Kentucky has produced a great number of one-and-done players that went on to successful careers in the NBA. Montgomery averaged 6.1 ppg and 5.4 rebounds for John Calipari last season, which are not numbers normally associated with going hardship.

E.J. Montgomery, 21 years old, decided otherwise. He is now on his way to join coach David Gale and a 5-7 squad that holds the 6th spot in the LKL standings.
