Dwight Hardy moves to Barcellona

American point guard Dwight Hardy (188 cm, St. Johns’11) has signed with Italian team Sigma Barcellona (Italy, Lega 2) until the end of the 2012-2013 season. Hardy has been playing in Italy since turning pro in 2011 and last season he played in Lega 2 with Tuscany Pistoia. With Pistoia the 26-year old played 41 games and averaged a league second best of 22.2 points per game.

At the beginning of this season Hardy made the move to Italy’s Serie A to play with Sidigas Avellino. He has found game time hard to come by with Avellino and featured in just 6 games for the team averaging 7.8ppg, 1.7rpg, 1.0apg.
