Dusko Vujosevic to coach Limoges
Dusko Vujosevic has been named as the new head coach of Limoges CSP Elite and will helm the club as it aims for glory in the French ProA and Eurocup this season. The Montenegrin tactician has spent the last three seasons in the hot seat of Partizan NIS Belgrade (Serbia, KLS and Adriatic League).
While in charge of the Serbian giant, Dusko Vujosevic guided the team to the finals of the KLS during the 2014/2015 season, losing to rival Crvena Zvezda Belgrade. However, the 57-year old has tasted plenty of success over a long association with Partizan, winning the Serbian league no fewer than six time, the last title coming in 2014.
Vujosevic has helmed Partizan over 12 seasons since the turn of the century, but he will now turn his attention to a Limoges team that is currently struggling in the ProA. The reigning ProA champion is sitting a disappointing 8th in the standings with an 8-8 record, although the club is in the mix in the Eurocup Last 32 after dropping from the Euroleague.
With Limoges struggling for consistent form the club needs Dusko Vujosevic to bring all his nous and taste for success.
