Dominic James signed by Union Poitiers

Dominic James (180 cm, Marquette’09) is headed to France to play for Union Poitiers Basket 86 (Pro A). James is moving from Trenkwalder Reggio Emilia from Italy’s Serie A, where he started the 2012-13 season. The 27-year-old played 19 games for them and averaged 7.2 ppg and 2.4 rpg. It’s poetic that James is moving from one country of romance to another, as he’ll easily fit right in as you can see here.

He started the 2011-12 season playing for Aris Thessaloniki from Greece’s A1 League. He played seven games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 14.7 ppg and 2.3 apg. James also played 14 games in the Greek league and logged averages of 14.5 ppg and 4.1 apg. In February 2012, he transferred to BC Partizan MT:S Beograd from Serbia’s A-League. There he played 20 games in the Serbian league and averaged 9.2 ppg and 3.6 apg. He also played seven games for BC Partizan in the Adriatic League, notching 12.0 ppg and 3.6 averages.
