Dionte Christmas joins Paris-Levallois

Dionte Christmas (196 cm, Temple’09) will be playing in the French Pro A this 2014-15 after agreeing to terms with Paris-Levallois. Christmas played for the Phoenix Suns in 2013-14 and averaged 2.3 ppg and 1.2 rpg in 31 games. The Suns are have a stacked backcourt with the addition of Isaiah Thomas this off season. When Christmas failed to get any interest from NBA teams for the season hes decided to make a return to Europe to resume his career.

In October 2012 Christmas joined CSKA Moskow from Russia’s PBL. He played eight games for them in the VTB United League and averaged 5.5 ppg and 2.0 rpg. In the Russian League he managed to log six games for CSKA Moskow and averaged 3.8 ppg and 2.2 rpg. He also played for them in the Euroleague where he played 14 games and averaged 6.5 ppg and 1.1 rpg. Dionte then signed with Montepaschi Siena (Italy-SerieA) and in nine games he averaged 5.1 ppg and 1.6 rpg.
