DeVaughn Washington added by Nagano
DeVaughn Washington (202 cm, Ohio’ 10) has signed with Shinshu Brave Warriors Nagano (BJ League) in a move that will see him remain in Japan. The American player is switching to Nagano from Hyogo Storks (Japan-NBL). In the 2013/14 season he averaged 10.9ppg and 3.6rpg in ten games for the Storks. During the 2012-2013 season DeVaughn Washington played for WBC Raiffeisen Wels (Austria-A Bundesliga) where he notched 14.5ppg and 7.5rpg in 32 games.
Washington finished 2012 season playing with Bohemios in Uruguay’s LUB. During his stint there he averaged 16.4ppg and 9.2rpg. Washington spent the majority of that season with Gelisim Koleji in Turkey’s TB2L. Over twenty-four games with Gelisim, DeVaughn averaged 11ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.3bpg. Before playing professionally, Washington excelled at Ohio University where he paced the Bobcats in his senior year with 13.4ppg and 5.6rpg.
