Demetrius Nelson stays with Kapfenberg

Demetrius Nelson (203 cm, Citadel´09) will stay with the Kapfenberg Bulls (Austria, A Bundesliga) for the remainder of the season after a sponsor picked up his salary. The power forward/center has been an integral part of the Bulls team for the last three seasons. The American has been a mainstay of the Bulls team and has played over one hundred games for the club since joining in 2010. Bulls head coach Michael Schrittwieser expressed his delight at the return of Demetrius Nelson.

For us, only one player has come into question we know and where we can be sure that our team chemistry does not suffer. Our game is going to change a little bit with the addition of Demetrius because we will we gain in physique and again in underneath the baskets. We will be more flexible inside and can also play more intense, after the operating times of our key players will reduce. We will start with great trust to the next stage of the championship.
