Dejan Kravic joins Basic-Fit Brussels
Dejan Kravic (211, Texas Tech ’14) is taking his game to Basic-Fit Brussels (Belgium-Euromillions). This is the first appearance in Belgium for the 26-year-old big man. Since graduating, he spent two years in Grece and one in the Netherlands. Kravic was last with the A.G.O. Rethymno Aegean (Greece-A1) a year ago for 13 games. The Greek team put him on the floor for 22.3 mpg and he contributed with 9.4 ppg and 5.7 rpg. The Bosnian can play both power forward and center but perimeter shooting is not in his game. His scoring comes in the paint and his 211 cm frame is a big advantage down low.
His new Belgium team will welcome him after coming away with a solid 25-15 season. Brussels finished second in the Euromillions league and also competed for the European Cup. They fell short of their expectations in the European Cup as they failed to advance past the group stage. The team struggled with a 1-5 record in Group A. Kravic should bring a new strong offensive threat to the frontline of Brussels.
