Dejan Borovnjak heads to Turkey

Dejan Borovnjak (207 cm) has been signed by Royal Hali Gaziantep from Turkey’s TBL for the 2013-14 season. The Serbian started the 2012-13 season with KAO Dramas (Greece-A1), but only played three games with the club. During that stint he averaged 7.7 ppg and 1.7 rpg.

In December 2012 he moved to Stelmet Zielona Gora from Poland’s TBL. He logged 30 games in the Polish league and hit averages of 12.1 ppg and 6.2 rpg. In six games representing Stelmet in the Eurocup he averaged 15.7 ppg and 6.7 rpg. In 2013 Stelmet won the Polish League Championship.
