DeAndre Liggins moves to Volgograd
Former NBA player DeAndre Liggins (198 cm, Kentucky’11) is on his way to Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd (Russia, VTB League) for the coming season. The guard is thought to have penned a one year deal with the club and the contract is thought to not include an NBA out. The American has been involved with NBA franchises since graduating from Kentucky in 2011 and has been on the roster of the Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Orlando Magic.
For the most part though, DeAndre Liggins has played the majority of his Basketball in recent seasons in the American D-League. Last season he started the campaign with Oklahoma before switching to the Heat and finally finding his way to the Sioux Falls Sky Force (D-League). Once with Sioux, Liggins played 47 games and averaged 14.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 2.6 steals per game.
