DeAndre Jordan’s electrifying slam
DeAndre Jordan (211 cm, Texas A&M’08) has been quiet lately. He was even relatively quiet in the Los Angeles Clippers’ 129-97 blowout victory over the Detroit Pistons. Jordan 13 points, grabbed seven rebounds and blocked two shots. The silence was broken in the second quarter of the game when Jordan was the recipient of a slick Chris Paul alley-oop pass on the fastbreak.
Jordan caught ball cleanly in mid-air as he sailed through the paint. Detroit’s Brandon Knight (190 cm, Kentucky’11) jumped up in a valiant yet futile attempt at putting up some semblance of defense, but was totally posterized as Jordan hammered the ball into the rim with both power and grace.
